During the class of Biology, the learning objectives are GMOs, this is valuable to my future because it will help me learn about GMOs and how GMO food are made.
The project that I am submitting as an artifact for Biology had the following learning objective: DNA and genetics. This links back to the course learning objectives, which is sustainable agriculture.
The assignment or project was about The GMO Infographic food And required me to Find a GMO plant or food and talking about What does the cotton do and Learn more about the GMO cotton for clothing. The Process I went through to do this project and meet the learning objectives first started with A picture and searching up about GMO cotton to know about What did get rid of the bollworm without needed to put toxins. Then i started Searching up where have they grown in and What were the benefits of The GMO. Throughout this process listed above I have realized I have learned or grown in the following ways Paying attention, and learning About the Cottons.
I have demonstrated Self Directed learner who communicates effectively in the artifact by demonstrating I was able to find information about cotton on the internet and organize it in Google drawings. This is important because This is a skill that i can use for other subjects. I could have improved the following SLO Thinking critically and creatively better by improving my critical thinking skills for this assignment, which would help me determine the benefits and risks of a GMO. Overall the most important things I have learned in this class this year are about genetics. These skills I have learned in this class will help me in the future by understanding more about inheritance.
The Mono dicots Venn diagram was easy for me because it only shows what plant has 4 or 5 dicots and 3 monocots. so we had place a flower on dicots to show an example of a dicot plant.
